radish!
Aren't these Rainbow Radishes just gorgeous?!
I think they are more like a bunch of flowers than a vegetable.
Over the next few days I plan to make
this
salad,
this
dip and
this
bruschetta. Bren will only eat them raw like an apple.
I hope there is a bit of colour in your day.

Sugar snap peas.
First of the season.
Less than a minute after the top photo was taken.

Scenes from the farm stall.
So ace to meet you and the family
Emma
.
Can you see me crocheting under the blackwood?
A most unwelcome guest. Indi named him Simon.
It was a ridiculously hot day today. The customers were few but so lovely.
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

Mixed brambleberry jam.
Today I took these red, white and black currants and gooseberries,
I added sugar and stirred them over a hot flame,
and turned them into this jam.
Now I have to wash these dishes.

Farm gate stall.
We had such a great first day at the stall.
Thank you so much to everyone who came and supported us.
Looking forward to seeing you soon.
(Tim I'll post a map tomorrow).

Tomorrow!
We are just putting the final touches on the place for our first open farm gate day tomorrow.
We made these row markers so you can see what is growing where.
The fairies have made a ring under the blackwood tree.
We've put up flags to help you find your way.
We'll be open Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am til 5pm.
We've got the freshest, certified organic, eggs, garlic and veg.
Hope to see you soon.
