On Friday Richard spent the day waist deep in our house dam planting out more than a thousand water plants.
Some of the plants are for habitat for the wildlife, some like water chestnuts are edible, some like water lilies are aesthetic and all aid in preserving and ensuring the water quality.

One thing is for sure.....you will be leaving your plot of land in far grater condition than you found it!! Congratulations to you both!
I really love that last Photo Kate the invoice and tags ...
Great work guys.
I popped into Bells yesterday for the first time, how funny. Mind you it was for two butter sandwiches from their cafe for two hungry girls. We used to have water lilies at our place and I love their shapes and colours. I bet the dam looks different now it's had a makeover, sounds like it is full of some fantastic plants. I'd like to check out the water chestnuts xo
